Running our software on Windows 10


Some users have encountered difficulties running our software after upgrading their computer to Windows10. Trying to run the program does 'nothing' - no error message, simply nothing happens.

The most likely reason is .NET Framework 3.5 is required by your version of our program and it is not enabled. Your earlier operating system would have had .NET Framework 3.5 installed, however we have been told that while Windows 10 ships with .NET Framework 3.5, it is not enabled by default. To enable .NET Framework, see the answer to the first question at this Microsoft forum - link.

After enabling or installing .NET Framework 3.5, try running the program again. If this fails to resolve the issue, please contact Namich via the Contact Us link below.

Alternatively, if using EMPDUPE Maker, uninstall your existing version and download the Windows 10 version from here. (For earlier Releases, see under Other Downloads).
