SBR Hub

The SBR Hub is where all SBR Reporting is managed. After you generate a Report for lodgment via SBR, STP Creator will add the details to the Hub, as you can see from the example below:

The SBR Hub can be accessed from numerous places. The above image shows 7 entries in the SBR Hub with Date Created, Dated Lodged, etc and Accepted by the ATO columns highlighted.

As you generate a new Report it will be added to the SBR Hub. This will contain a permanent record of your SBR History. If you scroll to the right, information is stored about file locations, keystore used etc, should this ever be required for any purpose.

Messages

Responses to SBR processes are displayed here. When all goes well, these can be ignored. When there are errors the information displayed can help diagnose and solve. If unable to resolve an issue based on the details in the Message, use the Copy Messages button to copy the details and then paste into an email or another file and send to Namich for advice.

Copy Messages

Copies content of Messages section into Clipboard. You can then paste into an email of a file using Edit >  Paste or Ctrl + v. Email details to Namich if unable to identify the cause of an errors or how to resolve it.

Delete

Allows you to delete entries from the SBR Hub. First select by ticking those to be deleted and click Delete.

Lodge

Select an entry (by ticking check box in Report_ID column) then click Lodge to send the Report data to the ATO. If the Report was Lodged successfully, this means the ATO has received it, however they have not yet processed it. On successful Lodgement, you will also receive email notification.

You can only Lodge a report once. If there are errors or the Report is not accepted, you will need to Generate a new report and Lodge that.

Check Result

After a Report has been Lodged, you then need to check the result - that is whether after the Report was processed, did that ATO Accept it or Reject it? To check the result, select entry (by ticking check box in Report_ID column) then click Check Result.

Sometimes a result is ready within seconds. If a result is not ready, you will be advised to try again later. You can try as many times as you like until a result is received. The result will be displayed on screen and will also be emailed to you. The email will contain a summary of the Report. If the Report was rejected, details of the errors will be in the email.

During the busy season, results may take longer.

Once a result has been received, you cannot 'Check Result' again for that same Report, the result comes through once only. The result itself is stored by STP Creator and you can view the result anytime by selecting 'Result Details' - see below.

Sometimes for various reasons, Check Result may fail to receive a response. See Check Result Fails to find out what to do if you cannot receive a response from the ATO.

Result Details

Use this to look at the result details again. Select entry (by ticking check box in Record_ID column) then click Result Details. STP Creator will retrieve the stored result and display it on screen.

This is used for diagnostic purposes only. If you encounter an error, the tracelog can provide further information about the error. You can email this to Namich for clarification if required.

View Report

Use this to look at the data actually sent (or to be sent) to the ATO. You can choose between a text STP Report (viewed via Notepad) or a CSV STP Report (viewed via excel). Use this for reference purposes should there be a query about the Report. Select an entry (by ticking check box in Report_ID column) then click View STP Report. STP Creator will retrieve the stored summary and display it on screen. To see the location of this summary file, scroll to the right.

Zip and Email

This is used for diagnostic purposes only. Should you encounter an error that you can not resolve, contact Namich via email outlining the details. Namich may request that you use Zip and Email.

Select the relevant entry (by ticking check box in Report_ID column) then click Zip and Email. STP Creator will gather the relevant files and data for this report and save it in a password protected zip file. You can then attach this to an email and sent to Namich. If you use Outlook, you can automatically attach the zip to an email addressed to Namich. Complete the details about the issue and send the email.

Use this to look at the result details again. Select entry (by ticking check box in Report_ID column) then click Result Details. STP Creator will retrieve the stored result and display it on screen.

Copy Hub

Use this to copy the details in the Hub to the Clipboard and then paste into a document such as an excel file. Use Edit > Paste or Ctrl + v to paste.

Change Status

Sometimes an entry in the table shows as Pending even though it has been processed and accepted by the ATO. If you have confirmed the STP Report was Accepted by the ATO (see Check Result Fails), you can use this button to change the Accepted by ATO status from Pending to Yes.

Change Location

The SBR Hub stores a link to the STP Report files where they were originally created. If you move the files, you can use this button to change the stored location so STP Creator can locate the Report files.
