MYOB® Log In Message

Basic Principles

• When a Data Set file is created, it is linked to a specific MYOB® company file. STP Creator will access confidential data from that linked MYOB® company file. Certain measures are required to ensure STP Creator does not give access to payroll data to those not authorised.

User ID

If using a MYOB® company file, STP Creator will only allow a user to access data from the linked MYOB® company file if they log in as either:

• Administrator or
• STP_NAMICH

The Default is Administrator - if you do not know the Administrator password (or Master password for older versions), get someone who does to create a User ID called STP_NAMICH and provide you with the password for this user.

When creating the new user, the Administrator should set the permissions to match those you are normally granted (or grant no permissions at all). The permissions do not impact on STP Creator, they are simply to ensure if you log into the company file, you aren't given access to functions you are not normally given access to.
