PayDay Superannuation Reporting FAQ
Q1. Do I have to use the Ozedi clearing house? |
| |
No. PayDay Super does not require you to change HOW you report and pay your employee's super
contributions, it simply changes WHEN or how frequently you report and pay.
If you have an existing arrangement that works for you, you can keep using that.
However if your existing arrangement can no longer be used (eg the SBSCH closes 30 June 2026), you will need to find a new arrangement,
for example using Ozedi directly from STP Creator.

Q2. How to I register with Ozedi? |

Q4. I have uploaded the SAFF file - what do I do now? |
| |
After you have uploaded the SAFF file, there are 4 basic stages:
- Pre - processing checks - SAFF file is validated
- Payment Reference Numbers (PRN) are allocated
- Payment are sent to funds
- Remittances/Notices are sent to funds
You should use Check Status button to see what step the process is at. The process moves seamlessly from one stage to the next, unless there is an error or some other user action is required.
After upload, click Check Status to see if there were any Pre-processing errors. If yes, fix and re-upload.
Payments - this depends on your chosen payment method:
- Manual Payments - Use Actions button to download Payments file, then use View to view the payments file.
Use online banking to make payments to each SuperFund using BSB, Account No, Account Name, and PRN in payments file.
- Zepto PayTo Agreement - you don't need to do anything as Ozedi will commence the payment process, you will receive email notification
as each SuperFund receives the money.
- Zepto Transfer - you need to log into online banking and transfer the exact amount to the PayID provided by Ozedi at registration.
Ozedi will then send payments to SuperFunds, and you will receive email notification as each SuperFund receives the money.
- RewardPay - contact Ozedi on 1300 737 614 for how to authorise payment as their documentation does not cover this.
Remittances/Notices - this depends on your payment method and AutoSend setting:
- Manual Payments - Once SAFF file is validated, Ozedi will send remittances to SuperFunds immediately, irrespective of AutoSend setting
- Zepto PayTo Agreement - If AutoSend was set to true, Ozedi will automatically send remittances once payments have been received by SuperFunds. If AutoSend set to false, use Action button to advise Ozedi to Send Remittances.
- Zepto Transfer - Ozedi will automatically send remittances once payments have been received by SuperFund, irrespective of AutoSend setting
- RewardPay - contact Ozedi on 1300 737 614 to confirm process as their documentation does not cover this.
You will receive email notification once each SuperFund has received the remittances/notices.
